The Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) has declared a state of emergency as a third-degree weather depression has started to affect the Kingdom today. 

Spokesman for GAM, Nasser Rahamneh said that GAM's cadres are ready to deal with the current weather conditions.

He added that that field teams will be dispatched to address the issue of road closures due to rainfall and to make sure that manholes are fully functioning.

GAM has called on citizens and residents to contact 065359970, 065359971 and 0798166789 in case of emergency.
